About Dr. Rachit Goel
Dr. Rachit Arun Goel is a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric & Neonatal Surgeon and Pediatric Urologist, currently serving as a consultant at Yashoda Hospital & Research Centre, Nehru Nagar, Ghaziabad, and Yashoda Superspeciality Hospital & Cancer Institute, Nehru Nagar, Ghaziabad. Few Myths of Pediatric Surgery
Undescended testis should be done after 1 yr of age.
This is misconception. Now a days we plan surgery between 6mnth to 1 yr of life which is ideal. Though child comes at any age with normal lookin testis should do orchidopexy.
Prepuceal adhesions (unable to retract prepuceal skin) should be treated immediately.
This is physiological phimosis which is normal till 5yrs. Unless child is having symptom then show to pediatric surgeon
Circumcision or prepuceal retraction increase size of penis.
Size is depends upon genes.
