Crohn’s Disease

Crohn’s Disease is a type of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) that can affect any part of the digestive tract, from the mouth to the anus, but most commonly impacts the end of the small intestine (ileum) and the beginning of the large intestine (colon). It causes inflammation, swelling, and damage to the bowel wall, which can lead to severe symptoms and complications.

Crohn’s Disease can affect both children and adults and often develops between the ages of 15 and 35, though it can begin earlier.
