What is Ulcerative Colitis?
Ulcerative Colitis is a form of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that causes continuous inflammation and ulceration in the inner lining of the large intestine (colon) and rectum. It typically begins in adolescence or late childhood but can also appear in younger children.
