What is Neuroblastoma?

Neuroblastoma is a type of cancer that develops from immature nerve cells called neuroblasts. It typically originates in the adrenal glands (located above the kidneys) but can also occur in the neck, chest, abdomen, or spine. It is the most common cancer in children under the age of 5 and can sometimes be present at birth.
